A deep crimson with a slight purple hue. On the nose opens on expressive blackcurrant and bilberry aromas with a touch of toast, joined with airing by leather and black fruit notes. On the palate from a round and rich attack on bilberry and blackcurrant flavours, the midpalate reveals the powerful yet refined tannins of a great terroir. The leather note returns on the finish, along with mild spice, especially nutmeg, and a hint of truffle.
